HP Dv6 Series laptops are one of the best high end laptops available in the current market. If you have been looking for a laptop which can not only entertain you but also meet your performance needs, then Hp Dv6 series laptops are fairly good option for you. HP Dv6 series laptops are well designed with HP logo getting illuminated while in use and design to suite most of us our need. Its keypad is easy to use.
It is loaded with Beats music system where the sound is good on headphone and without headphone it is satisfactory. I don’t expect tiny speakers of any laptop to give me the feel of a home theatre system. Hp Dv6 comes with a blu ray player which comes extremely handy if you want to watch high quality blu ray discs on your laptop or TV by connecting it to your LED or LCD TV with HDMI cable. The best part of its blu ray player is that it shuts downs the screen display if you connect it to your tv to provide HD display on the tv using its 2GB Radeon or any other available Graphics card even if you have not chosen a HD screen for your laptop.
There are many laptops which will simply send the same resolution output to your TV as of the laptop screen. So if you are using those laptops and connect your laptop to the TV and then play blu ray disc on them, you won’t get HD display on TV unless until you upgrade their screen. In the case of HP Dv6 series laptops, as it is able to shut down its own display and use the graphic card, it can send a complete HD display to your large screen led tv. This feature is really cool. You don’t have to spend extra bucks on Blu ray Disc player if you have it.
It doesn’t get hot and extremely pleasant to use. If you are using intel’s i7 processor with 6 or 8 GM ram, then it is really fast and you can also play games on it. I will suggest getting 8 GB ram if you are planning to use it thoroughly for playing games. This laptop is customizable so you can customize it as per your needs. For example, the general configuration of one of the variant of HP Dv6 series laptops is;

I would go to a custom place onnile that is not one of the Big Names. Sometimes the biggies like Dell, Acer, and HP/Compaq have deals if you don’t mind not customizing it.Try something like CyberPowerPC. They have cheap prices, and you can choose what you want on your laptop so you can get rid of any parts you don’t need. They also include 1 year of free warranty, and lifetime phone support, so that’s good. I wouldn’t rely on the support though, but the prices are second to none.Other onnile places to try that I hear are Alienware and NewEgg, you may want to check them out.You might also be able to find a deal at BestBuy or Walmart as well, depending on the time of year. Bottom line is, you’re making a big investment, so shop around some. Remember they all use the same components mostly, so whoever is the cheapest, is probably the best.*IMPORTANT* My one MAJOR recommendation would be to avoid AMD processors. They are great in desktops, but in laptops they tend to overheat and cause problems. I learned this the hard way.Good luck!Was this answer helpful?
