Hi Guys, if you have been waiting for GATE 2021 Exams, IITB (Indian institute of technology, Bombay) has announced exam details like dates, eligibility criteria & 2021 papers.

GATE 2021 Exam dates

  • Friday 5th February 2021
  • Saturday 6th February 2021
  • Sunday 7th February 2021
  • Friday 12th February 2021
  • Saturday 13th February 2021
  • Sunday 14th February 2021

GATE 2021-Eligibility Criteria

Anyone who has successfully completed 10+2+2 or 10+3+1 and currently in undergraduate 3rd year or higher years of study or graduated in any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts.

Maximum Two papers in GATE 2021

Candidates can appear either in ONE (like earlier years) or maximum TWO papers in GATE 2021. The second paper must be from the given set of combinations (mentioned in information brochure) available for this year, based on the availability of infrastructure and date. So some branches may NOT get second paper option. Details will be available soon in the Information Brochure.

GATE-JAM office conducts GATE and JAM examinations for admission to post graduate programmes.

 

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination conducted in eight zones across the country jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras & Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordinating Board (NCB), Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. Admission to post graduate programmes with MHRD and some other government scholarship/ assistantship at engineering colleges/ institutes in the country are open to those who qualify through GATE.

Organizing Institute for GATE 2021 is IIT Bombay.

 

The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is an all-India examination conducted in eight zones across the country jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras & Roorkee) on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. JAM is for admission to M.Sc. (Two year), Joint M.Sc.- Ph.D., Dual Degree and other post-bachelor degree programmes in Science at IISc and IITs.
