Lenovo had launched its tablet PCs in India and they are Lenovo Ideapad K1 Series and Thinkpad Tablet pc. Lenovo has launched only Ideapad  K1 Series and Thinkpad tablet pcs in India whereas there is no information on the cheaper version of Lenovo tablet, i.e. Lenovo A1 Series tablets. Lenovo Ideapad  K1 is targeted towards personal usage and Thinkpad is more towards business purposes. Lenovo K1 tablet pc is priced close to Rs 30000 in India. Lenovo ideapad k1 is powered by Google’s Android 3.1.

2011 was a very significant year for tablet markets in India. Lot of tablets were launched in 2011 and with the growing number of options in the market, it is becoming exceedingly difficult for an average user to decide the most appropriate one.

With the launch of Lenovo’s tablets, competition has already heated up. Lenovo being one of the biggest brands in computers and laptop segment is expected to perform well in Tablet segment also. But the equation is different in tablet pc market. It is dominated by brands like Apple, Samsung and Motorola. HP, another Computer and laptop maker has already failed with its tablets.

Lenovo tablets have also not got the initial response as company wanted. But when we looked at their Lenovo K1 Tablet, we were quite impressed. It has nothing which is not there in Apple ipad or Samsung Galaxy. But it is a well built tablet with loads of preloaded applications. With the presence of preloaded applications, it is ready to go from the moment, it reaches your hand.

Its design is also quite good and different. It is available in four different colors and they are red, brown, black and white. So if you are looking for a different look and like red & brown, then probably you can have a look at it. Lenovo Ideapad K1 Tablet pc is definitely one of finest tablet available in the market. So you can play around with it before you finalize your call.
