Nokia Lumia 800 ReviewNokia Lumia 800 is a very critical phone for Nokia. Nokia, Finnish cell maker, who once dominated the cellular market across various segments, is currently struggling to even manage a handful of sales from all segment of cell phones across globe. Nokia Lumia 8oo has been positioned by Nokia with great expectation. So let’s review Nokia Lumia 800.

Nokia Lumia 800 is really a beautiful smart phone. The first thing which you will notice about Nokia Lumia 800 is its design. It has been designed very well and fits well into your grip. It is definitely one of the best looking phones in this segment. This is powered by windows, so we have a new smart phone powered by windows.

Nokia Lumia 800 is using Amoled technology for its display which is crystal clear on the 3.7 inch screen. Nokia Lumia 800 is powered by windows so Nokia is using WVGA 800x 480 panels which looks good on it. The live tile based Metro UI came to on this panel with deep blacks and superlative viewing angles is satisfying.

Nokia Lumia 800 is not different than other Nokia cell phone in terms of camera’s performance. Nokia is well known for exceptionally well camera performances from the mobile handsets so Nokia Lumia 800 with its 8 mega pixel lens delivers a good performance. On the video front the Lumia 800 shoots crisp 720p HD video. 1080p video is not supported by the single core chipset powering the device. The low light video performance is also an issue which can disappoint users looking for that.

The operating system is good though there are severe competition from phones like Apple iphone and Android powered phones like Samsung Galaxy series. It allows 16 GB storage. Battery life is average and Call clarity is also average. Nokia Lumia 800 runs on Mango operating System. It has a 1.4 Ghz Qualcomm MSM 8255 single-core processor with 512MB of RAM.
