Hi,
I am a civil engineer, have had experience with SAP 4.0 version and interested in browsing net (news and investment related websites though have not traded so far let alone trade online).
I intend to buy
1) A cell phone and
2) A tablet or laptop (very light and highly mobile). I am being paid 25000 for such a piece (second item only) by my office.
I would want a cell phone with such features… 3G capabilities, Preferable GSM, preferable capacitative screentouch, 5MP camera, expandable memory, USB, Documentation capability on the go, reliable battery life. I am a self confessed nokia fan, but open to samsung or any other reliable piece in your sight. Price is slightly tight-Rs. 10,000 but if the piece is really good can try to go slightly upward of it. Is nokia C5 ok? please do suggest
For second item, I already have a satellite Toshiba laptop (Old but works even now). I also have a lenovo 4gb ram. can you suggest any options….
When you buy a cell phone or tablet in today’s market, best way is to set your budget and walk into the nearest store close to your place. Place with few models, come back and then search for these things on websites like flipkart. As far as phone is concerned, you can check out this post-https://akhilendra.com/best-affordable-smartphones-in-india/. But there are more options now.
As far as choice between tablet and laptop is concerned, it depends upon what do you prefer? Apple I-pad and other good tablets are above Rs 25000 and most of the laptops also. Surfing net won’t be a problem on these gadgets. So, if you company is going to refund you the amount till 25000 and you will get device, then you can add some more money from your side but if you have to return the device if you leave the company, then it cannot be the case and in that case, you can pick any tablet or laptop in that range.
