Why You Cannot Avoid Blogging TodayThe title of this post is self explanatory. You just cannot afford to avoid blogging in today’s world. If you think that just by having an account on social networking sites fulfills the requirement of your online presence then you are grossly mistaken. Having an account on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter is fine but unless until you have your own blog, you cannot show your true potential to the world.

Blog is extremely useful in nurturing your true talent and it helps a lot in your self-discovery. By the way, setting up blog is fairly easy in today’s world and affordable too. There is enough material on internet on “How to set up your blog”?

There are many successful bloggers who started their blog as a personal journal or a professional blog but on some other topic and today them blog on something entirely different. Anybody can start a blog but making it successful is entirely a different ball game. It requires special skills and higher commitment level to build an audience for your blog.

Many of us don’t realize that sometime we drive blogs and many times, our blog drive us. Blog compel you to do research on the topics. Topics about which we feel that we know enough but when it comes to pen down a 300 words article, we realize how narrow our thoughts were.

You interact with pros through your blog whereas it is whole lot amateur interaction on social networking site. Nowadays, anybody and everybody will like your status or post on these social networking sites but on your blog, it is damn hard to get one ‘like’.

As mentioned earlier, you get pros and experts from all around the world visiting your blog. They support, question, disagree and criticize you. And over a period of time, that criticism becomes your primary source of inspiration. Your blog drives you to work hard and gain further knowledge about your niche.

Irrespective of the reason you do blogging, it always helps you in no matter what you do in rest of your time.

You could be a student, a homemaker or a professional; it helps you in gaining knowledge. There are lots of professional bloggers who have left their full time job to continue their career in full time blogging. It has earned them name, fame and loads of money, too.

If you have been blogging but not given too much of attention to it, then I will say start giving it more time than what you give today and if you haven’t started blogging yet, you must consider it.
