It is easy to use with settings and menus are well crafted for user friendliness.  Like Panasonic Lumix GF3, it also comes with micro four third lens mount. It offers an optical zoom of 3x and well designed. Like Sony’s and Panasonic camera, it is also loaded with features and extremely good photographers who are looking to graduate from Point & Shoot cameras to high end DSLRs. It is priced at Rs 29500.

Nikon J1 – Nikon J1 is going to be the latest entrant in Indian market in this segment. It is currently available in US markets around $599. As it is coming from Nikon’s table, it is expected to be as good as any other camera would be. Its price tag is still not clear in India. Nikon’s J1 comes with 13.2 mm x 8.8 mm CMOS sensor and 10.1 megapixels. As it is new, it is very difficult to say how it fair against its rivals but it is expected to perform in the similar range.
