Business Analyst – Ecommerce with Wipro Bangalore

  • Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging seller and customer behavior trends in ecommerce industry to identify new opportunities.


  • Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap.


  • Coordinate with team of product managers and analysts to plan and deliver the roadmap to meet business objectives.


  • Drive product requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts


  • Work with Analytics, engineering, design, and Walmart partners to define the data requirements, measurement methodologies, APIs, UX for advertising platforms



  • Work with Business team to get the right set of requirements prioritized and assist them in identifying right set of KPIs which can be measured once the Product/feature goes live


  • Working on User Stories considering 360-degree view of all aspects including potential edge cases, acceptance criteria and interact with UX team to device the right designs that need to be incorporated


  • Assist in getting the QE conducted post-handover from dev team and coordinate with business for UAT execution and mitigating any potential risk.



  • Manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way and willing to do what it takes to make our product successful.

Good communication and presentation skills is a must have taking into consideration the business team and core team members across multiple geographies.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field.
  • MBA is an added advantage
  • 4+ years in product management with good understanding of Retail and Omni channel processes.
  • eCommerce experience is a must plus Marketplace experience is an added advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Should have been involved in ecommerce project implementation from delivery to DevOps
  • Implementation of Ecom/Marketplace solution across different geographies will be a key consideration.
  • Good knowledge of e-com customer journeys, usability and research techniques
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically
